Position Description

At Networked Insights, we are proud of our people-centric culture. As a member of the People Team and reporting to the CFO, the People Ops Specialist is responsible for everything on the Operations side of People. This role will work hands on to support the awesome NI Colleagues, HR Analytics, Benefits and Payroll Administration, and general “behind-the-scenes” People support. You will be expected to make sure payroll and benefits run smoothly, timely, and accurately. Working cross-functionally with Finance, you’ll be a key part of ensuring we remain compliant, competitive, and on top of our game all while meeting business goals and strategic objectives within our organization!


  • Benefits Administration
    • Administer all Networked Insights benefits programs, including: managing enrollments and terminations; reconciling bills and updating systems; Open Enrollment; overseeing disability, leaves and Cobra; and colleague communications
    • Own and maintain all day to day benefits-related vendor relationships: Zenefits, Ameriflex, Unum, HSA, 401(k), etc.
    • Act as the liaison between the People Team and Finance to gather colleague/candidate satisfaction on our Benefits offerings, analyze options, and build reports to prepare for CFO’s approval
  • Payroll Administration
    • Process bi-monthly Payroll through ADP
    • Ensure accuracy between Payroll, colleague elected benefits, and all associated vendors
    • Research and resolve payroll issues and questions in a timely manner
    • Assists Leadership Team in the annual review, preparation and administration of compensation
  • Process and maintain all paperwork for new hires, transfers, and terminations
  • Documentation control lead – maintain physical and electronic personnel and HR files
  • Implement and prepare various HR reports and analysis. Analyze data, identify trends and make recommendations based on best practices
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure compliance
  • Make recommendations to the Leadership Team and assist in the development and improvement of HR practices and procedures to ensure efficient departmental operations and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Provide general support to the People Team

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, with specific focus on payroll, benefits, and analytics
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently with an understanding of when to escalate issues
  • Strong analytical skills, with a track record of identifying potential issues proactively and formulating solutions and contingency plans
  • Solid understanding of federal and state laws and knowledge of visa and sponsorship requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding, high expectations environment while maintaining accuracy
  • High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
