NBC 15 in Madison hosted Go Orange Day, which is an annual tradition to show support to end hunger. Every September, Second Harvest Food Bank of Southern Wisconsin invites anyone to take action during Hunger Action Month. Wearing orange and taking a photo can help raise money and food to those in need. Networked Insights in Madison took a photo of ourselves wearing orange and posted the photo to NBC 15 News Facebook Page. For every photo posted to Facebook on September 4th, Lands’ End will donate 30 meals to Second Harvest. The goal was to raise 30,000 meals, and they met the goal by people spreading the word on Facebook and participating in Go Orange Day.
